Trosa Parish encompasses the areas of Trosa, Vagnhärad, and Västerljung in Södermanland, south of Stockholm. Here you will find a charming coastal town, a bit of an industrial town, and beautiful countryside. The parish has four churches, five cemeteries, and two parish homes, one of which is being newly built. We are a typical relocation parish where many of our approximately 9,000 parish members are children and young people. The parish's activities and worship life are characterized by a desire for everyone to feel welcome.

About the position

The office is the parish's supportive function and handles, for example, the booking of church services, venues, and civil funerals, manages the parish's and funeral operations' diary and archive management, registration in the burial book, invoicing, and is responsible for budget and year-end work.

The office is the parish's face to the outside world and is responsible for communication, both internal and external, such as the website, digital bulletin boards, and social media.

In your role, you will work with other office staff to handle these ongoing tasks and develop and improve the office's function in diary and archive management to be prepared for the present, as well as future needs in budget and year-end work.

The position may also involve stepping in for other church activities as needed.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and likes administration, finance, order, and is passionate about service, both within and outside the organization. You have a positive outlook, are solution-oriented, communicative, and unpretentious. You are curious and enjoy challenges. You have a humble and flexible approach but can set boundaries.

We expect you to have good knowledge of the Office suite, experience working with various types of digital systems. You have a relevant university degree or work experience that the employer deems equivalent.

It is an advantage if you have worked with KBOK, KOB, Aveny, and Public 360, as well as with public authority functions.

You are confident in and share the values of the Church of Sweden in both word and deed.

The office is located in central Trosa. There is public transport; we require a B driver's license, and access to a personal vehicle is an advantage but not a requirement.
